Integration Pathway for New Adult Migrants and Refugees.

The refugees challenges in Europe some of which are they are socially excluded in society and above all have psycho-social problems which can lead to learning difficulty.


They came from war torn countries, dictatorship regime, exposed to violent extremism, drop out of education or did not complete high school, disadvantaged in society, underemployed, unemployed.

The objective was to design, implement, test and disseminate an effective educational tool easy to use and decode able to support Adult educator’s in developing their daily activities and their channels of communication with the goal to support adult new migrants and refugees, in their integration path starting from the principle that knowledge of the hosting society’s language, history, institutions is crucial for successful integration: the aim of integration calls for efforts by the migrant to accept the basic values of the hosting society


We know many comic strips has been developed in the past, but according to our research this project focus areas has not been addressed before in connection to adult new migrants and refugees. Therefore, the methodological approach will develop a tool, that will be elaborated in the form of short comic strips through which adult new migrants and refugees will be able to improve, with Adult educator’s support, their knowledge of the heritage, habits and language of the host countries. focusing on a bottom-up and inclusive approach.


The background of the target.


The background of the project target group are adult new migrants and refugees from different background, and different education status, they came from war torn countries, dictatorship regime, exposed to violent extremism, drop out of education or did not complete high school, disadvantaged in society, underemployed, unemployed, socially excluded in society and above all have psycho-social problems which can lead to learning difficulty.
